Annual take-home pay 3,243,232 FCFA

IRPP is charged on your net taxable salary, not your gross. Cameroon's tax code lets you deduct a flat 30% for professional expenses, plus your CNPS contribution, plus XAF 500,000 a year — the progressive bands (10%/15%/25%/35%) only apply to what is left. A 10% CAC communal surcharge is then added to the IRPP amount, making the effective rates 11%/16.5%/27.5%/38.5%. CNPS is the 4.2% employee pension contribution, capped at XAF 750,000/month insurable earnings (max XAF 31,500). Salaries under XAF 62,000/month pay no IRPP. An estimate — confirm with the DGI or a tax practitioner.
